To create a subdomain for a domain hosted on HostGator, you need to follow these steps:

1. Log in to your HostGator cPanel account.
2. Scroll down to the “Domains” section and click on the “Subdomains” icon.
3. Enter the name of the subdomain you want to create in the “Subdomain” field.
4. Select the domain you want to create the subdomain for from the drop-down menu.
5. Choose the document root directory where you want to store the files for the subdomain.
6. Click on the “Create” button to create the subdomain.

Once you have completed these steps, your subdomain will be created, and you can start using it to host your website or other content. It is important to note that it may take up to 24-48 hours for the subdomain to propagate fully, so it may not be immediately available.
